Actually, after consulting the YouTube Help Forum, someone said that I can indeed apply whenever I want, as you said. The monetization page says that once I reach the threshold, my channel will be automatically reviewed. Then within a month or so, a decision will be made.

Basically, it's just fun. I've been playing video games my whole life, or at least for the last 20 years of it. Not much more reason than that for me.

I don't have either, so I'm gonna say PC.
