Oh yeah,maybe its cause you made your channel in 2015.Now the rules have changed we have to be verified.I got a message when I tried to add the custom thumbnail. I checked it up on google's support site. If you have a small tick mark near your channel name it means you are verified .

Thanks man! Yeah you should but here is the problem. You actually have to be verified on YouTube inorder to upload custom thumbnails .I realized that when I was gonna add mine . :/

Can some one tell me how to do it ^? I added the tags between the direct link of my img and I can see it in the preview but can't see it in any of the posts I have made. Same thing with the links,it is clickable when I preview my signature but otherwise its not.
