I mainly use OBS with the Elgato but i've seen a few use Fraps with mixed results, I think that can depends on the specs of the machine running it.

Not really used Dolphin, I've heard a few people have used it in the past with mixed results suppose it would be best to perhaps look at a few videos to get the best settings, also depends on your machine spec as well :)

Perhaps view other channels and look for a little inspiration, maybe think of ways on displaying what your message, try come up with a few fresh and new idea's its these that separate you from the rest, as for leaving the group there's probs not much point at this stage but look around the forum...

Chris has pretty much hit the nail on the head, thing is with let's play's is that sooo many people are doing them, you have to really be unique in the sense for people to share it because something in that video(s) is different from the rest, very hard to achieve! im certainly not doing that...

At the moment, im just using Twitter and Google+, alot of subs has come from word of mouth funny enough and friends telling friends, i need to put more efforts in on the social media sides of things!

mate pokemon games are awesome, funny enough my girlfriend bought me like 6 games a couple of christmas's back not played them all yet but really keen on the new games graphically they're awesome for a handheld!

Never used action, i've heard alot about it though, might purchase it if it's worthwhile - with regards to the delay on the Elgato does Action sort that out, or can you configure it to accommodate that delay?

I tend to use OBS when im using the Elgato card as it has a second or so delay so i tend to use it to sync everything up well.. try! easier said than done even with OBS! be interesting to know if anyone else gets that delay and they're way of tackling it!
