personally i would go for the 970.

Depends on preference and budget. I used to only use AMD processors til i decided to switch to intel and i noticed a huge difference. if you plan on streaming and or making alot of youtube videos, the extra power for rendering comes in handy no doubt. AMD is good if you are on a tight budget...
