To be honest, I don't think the future of youtube will be gaming either. I do think that gaming channels will soon dwindle in popularity, and something else (who knows what) will take centre stage on youtube.

if I were you, I wouldn't water cool. It's more expensive, more hassle and not even that much more effective. For general tips, make sure everything will work with each other eg. power supply can handle components, CPU is in the right socket, right size mobo and case. If you've got all of that...

CS:GO / CS: Source are both great games to record and don't have a story. they're multiplayer and very easy to make a funny moments style video. If your audience doesn't like that type of video, then I suggest Just Cause, as it may have a long story, but it's highly entertaining gameplay-wise...
