It really depends on whether or not you'll enjoy it and what type of audience you want to attract. If you think you'll attract an audience you want watching you then go for it.

The campaign is actually decent in my opinion, it was worth playing it which is enough for me. I know you said you don't care about the MP but since the MP is so bad that it makes the campaign look a lot better.

I agree; collaboration is very important to growing your channel to a state where you can maintain views and subscribers by yourself and continue to grow by yourself.

It really depends on whether you want your games to be similar to the style of RPG Maker or 3D. I don't know any other better engines for the sort of game like The Legend of The Vampire Queen but if you want to branch into 3D graphics then you should try the Unreal Engine...

You could always try panzoid for easy thumbnail creation. It's a lot simpler than GIMP but it doesn't have as much features. You should try both and see which one suits you (y) (Y)

You should do what you want as long as you're having fun, you'll want to do it so you'll be motivated. If you're not having fun don't do it as it'll demotivate you, even if it's something you usually do.

Some countries don't have fan funding available, so that maybe what's making you ineligible.
