I would also agree with @CoZmic Hazard on recording/playing what you enjoy. However, I find that the gameplays that do well are ones that you have constant reaction to. For example, scary or crazy (adult oriented or just weird games). Also, if a game is really hard to get through (dark souls).

I think it's smart to have a good mix. Some videos primarily action, some primarily just speaking, and some with a healthy mix.
