Your thumbnails aren't that bad :p I'd say you need to pick a design and stick to it. Every successful YouTuber has their own that they don't divert from :D

I think this looks great! I disagree with Twilight above though I love the center part. Also only one part of the text is slightly unreadable but it's an easy fix. Darken the background image slightly.

I agree with @ModernGFX, You should use a different font. Try a sans serif font such as Adam.cg pro or Kelson Sans. Also try to make the text stand out more.

The problem with this font is you have used ctrl + t to increase the size and haven't done it evenly. Make sure the width and height have been increased by the same amount of %. Fonts I recommend though are: Raleway Lato Pier Sans Aileron
