Let's play videos are kind of a dying genre in general. I mean the ones with light editing and a playthrough with episodes. Best to make gaming videos that can stand on their own rather than make a series.

Sony Vegas is a good editing software. I've been using it for 2 years. Highly satisfied with it.

1st thing, record horizontally not vertically. Your tv or computer screen isn't vertical so neither should your videos be. 2nd try and make your videos more entertaining. Maybe cut the best bits and put em in a video if you're doing a gameplay. If you're showing off a build then add some music...

It's nice. But in the future try to keep your thumbnails mostly pictures without text because when text is shrunken down it can be hard to read unless it's pretty big. So show rather than tell

Either is good. Both have similar options. Best to do it where you have more followers/subscribers and have a bigger chance of being successful.

In recent years there has been an uprise in gaming channels and everywhere you look on youtube it's all gaming videos. Originality kind of died out. Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with a good game and I'm not necessarily saying these videos are bad but there's just too many of them...

My editing mostly takes me from a half an hour to an hour. Sometimes even more. I try to make my videos not to long. But the more footage you have the more editing you'll have to do.

Your trailer should be a video that summarizes your channel. Describes what you're all about and how you're different and why people should subscribe to you. Show clips of your videos and voice over about yourself if you do gaming or just talk into the camera. Check out mine and that can give...
