I'm looking into upgrading my current PC to be for specifically recording. It has an old AMD A10 processor in it, so probably will replace both the motherboard and CPU. Which ones will be best for recording and livestreaming? My capture card is the elgato. Thanks!

For PC I use Shadowplay. Console I use Elgato Game Capture and Sound Capture software. It works great.

Personally, it would be better for freedom to do a web application than a full app. This could be accessed through the web browser of any phone. Makes it easier to develop and update than an app you download.

I have this capture card as well. Unfortunately it does not record Party chat unless you change the audio output on the Xbox One. But the newest update including Skype calls is pretty good so will need to research that more!

I am looking into livestreaming more, and with better quality. Right now I just use Xbox One and its party chat to twitch stream with some friends, but there is much more that can be done to improve this. Any livestreaming setup tips? Thanks!

Great tips! Quality is definitely better than quantity. Better to record and render in 1080p at the minimum with a good, high quality microphone for commentary. Having good quality with effective titles and branding makes any channel stand out in a crowd.

I think it depends what kind of content you want to make. I usually stick to full gameplays cause that is what my content is about. But someone who is into montages may not benefit from full gameplays.
