Thank you both for you replies! I look into all of your suggestions. And I thought of using the camera and mic on my phone, the only problem is my phone has limited storage, I don't want to be playing a game and suddenly run out of space. That would suck.

I'm thinking of starting a gaming channel, but I have no idea what I would use to record. It would most likely only be PC games, so I don't need a capture card or anything. And what is your setup as far as camera and mic goes?

I can get a thumbnail done in like 5 minutes at most. I have quite a bit of photoshop experience, and I make super simple thumbnails.

I definitely think if you have a demand for merch, it's a great way to advertise your merch. I only have 20 subs, so there is absolutely no need for me to have merch, but if I did I would wear the hell out of it.

Two of the best classes I took in high school were sociology and psychology. Both were considered social studies classes. I learned so much about people and how they interact with themselves and others. If you have the chance to take one of these classes, I would recommend it.

I always write everything down, even if I don't plan on using a script. You can just use google. I was always told in my graphic design classes to change the "search tools" setting to "labeled for noncommercial reuse with modification," although, I am not sure if that is truly necessary.

You may look into someone who is offering services for free. Or try and find someone who is looking to make thumbnails for you in turn for you advertising their work in order to get known and grow with you. I would just keep practicing to get better. If you want some help or tips on making them...

It depends. The ones who just straight up tell people to check out their content suck. But if you offer a constructive comment that relates to the video, and then you mention that you have a related video, that makes sense to me.
