Where are you from?: Bucharest, Romania
How old are you?: 28
Nickname: don't have one

Occupation? Right now am between jobs, and I think that's why I even have time to do YouTube

How did you find Freedom!?
Some video, don't even remember what it was about, but the guy mentioned YouTube networks including Freedom.

What made you join our forums?:
well what's the point of joining a community without joining its forum.

Why did you start YouTube?
because I had some free time on my hands and I thought why not, plus I'm a life long passionate gamer.

What kind of channel do you run?:
Gaming. I might start a vlog channel in the future.

What type of games do you Upload? Any game that tickles my fancy really (I should mention that any game that actually runs on my potato rig)

Computer?
This is the one thing that truly keeps me from growing the way I'd like to grow the channel. My PC is, well, really bad. AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black 3.4 Ghz / 8 Gb DDR3 @ 1333 Mhz / ASUS GTX 660. But what can you do, in a country where from the minimum wage (~230 euros), you have to eat / drink / pay bills / rent and buy thousands of dollars worth of streaming / editing PC. That last part is a dream for most.

Recording Editing? When I first started the channel I used OBS for recording, but because of my potato PC switched to ShadowPlay and Bandicam. As for editing, I bounce between Camtasia Studio 8 and Sony Vegas Pro 13 and Photoshop CS 6 for thumbnails.

Why this Game/Content? Because I love gaming, and I play lots of games and I thought, why not share that gameplay with others. Which is probably why I do lots of Let's Plays.

Have you had YouTube channels in the past?
No, this is my first. If I have one regret, it would be that I didn't start sooner (2011-2012).

How frequently do you upload?:
Right now since I'm between jobs, I upload daily. I hope to maintain the daily upload schedule even when I find another day job, since Let's Play content is easy to queue up - you just play 30 hours worth of gameplay during a weekend and bam, you have 30 days worth of daily content.

Do you have any goals/milestones?
Well since I plan to do YouTube for the next 20-30 years (God willing), I'm not in any particular hurry to get anywhere. Although let's say for the near future getting to 1-2k subs would be a nice milestone. And after that, just GROW as much as possible. There is no greater pleasure in life than earning a living from something you LOVE to do.

Anyway that's me. I also would like to mention I have a secondary channel called Mega Fails, that focuses on livestream fails, so you might want to check it out if you feel like laughing your pants off.

That is an incredible amount of information to read ^^ I wish that I started sooner for YouTube as well. My older videos were a bit cringey, and I deleted them off my channel. Uploading daily is nice, especially when you have the time to record it. It would be nice to have an audience, even with 20 consistent people. I'm hoping that you can reach your goal of 1-2k subscribers some day!

Great introduction. A warm welcome to freedom and the freedom community. Don't worry if you don't have the best computer or the best quality videos, all you should worry about is making entertaining and unique content that people will enjoy. I run everything on a tiny MacBook Air.

That's all well and good, but I want to make myself known as a Let's Player, and game requirements aren't getting any more forgiving so I'll have to get a really good PC, don't really have a choice. If I was a vloger for example, sure I'd be fine with a 720/1080p webcam.

Anyway, thanks for the words of encouragement.

Hey man, Welcome to Freedom, daily uploaders are really hard to find, good job you're doing back there! Also I checked your channel...Good job on your mass effect videos! Few suggestions would be try mixing uo the thumbnails cause that's what's gonna attract the viewers and also try using a noise reduction to get rid of the background noise (using Audacity) otherwise great job on the channel :D! Keep up the good work! (I subbed)...

I know, but because of my potato PC (always comes down to it), rendering even a 30-45 min video in 720p @ ~16 mb quality, takes at least an hour, so yeah.... I know the background noise is annoying. Right now I have a ****** 15$ mic, thinking of upgrading to a Razer Seiren in the near future.

Also thanks for the sub, check out my secondary channel Mega Fails. if you feel like laughing.
