I received the invite email from EA last night. Really looking forward to wasting sometime playing Battlefield 1 in its Alpha testing phases and providing feedback to the developers to help make it one helluva game!

How did you get invited? Did you signup or email them? Or did they just notice your channel.

I honestly didn't do anything. I think they saw that I own every Battlefield game in my Origin account, and probably saw that I just recently played BF3, so maybe I got the invite from being a dedicated Battlefield player? I don't believe the channel has anything to do with it, as part of the End User License Agreement is that I will not post any screenshots or videos to any media or social sites during the testing period.

Lucky :p I'm pretty excited for bf1 since we haven't been back to the past for a while, would've like ww2 but they utilized the full potential of ww1 well from what I've seen so I don't mind

You know what sucks? That.

If it were allowed, it would generate the greatest buzz.

Maybe... just maybe, you could produce a couple videos and then put them up after the testing period is finished. It does say "during the testing period". So...

Yeah it sure does suck...they have a watermark with my username, date, and time that randomely bounces around the screen...so I definetely can't get away with positing any videos at the moment. But believe me, I did think of posting footage after the testing phase is over...I'll have to dive deeper into the EULA to see if its permissable.
