I would also like to share my awesome YouTube story with you all, my 9 full years on YouTube!
Please read the whole story! It took me a lot of time to write
It all started in 2007, i was 7 years old, i always watched movies and liked to take pictures, I thought to myself i could be a photographer in the future, I found this one cool website called YouTube.com, back then it was all weird and hard to use, especially for me... My mom had this poor camera she gave me to record my Lego collections, it had very bad quality but when i saw that many people recorded stuff on YouTube i wanted to try it out myself so i just went for it! i started recording, i was very shy, i stuttered a lot and i was shaking behind the camera. It was very hard for me but also very fun, I did it once...twice... And just heated up I stopped shaking but still had a very bad stuttering problem and i was shy, i had to whisper into the camera.
I kept doing that for a year and i just got tired of YouTube, doing the same thing over and over again, So.. well i just chose taking pictures instead, i had my own blog page that my older brother created for me after he found out it was my hobby, it was funny to see how many pictures i posted every day, He taught me how to do it and stuff like that.
In the late 2008 - 2009 Everyone in my school has been slowly discovering YouTube and saying it's awesome and stuff like that, they even fought about who found it first, They didn't believe me i did in 2007 so i just kept my mouth shut because i was shy at that moment and obviously stuttering whole lot!
Either way i thought it would be cool to check out how YouTube changed and stuff like that, i went for it and it got me crawling back, i have made very few videos of my showing off my toy collections, A lot of people hated my work and started disliking my videos leaving some very rude comments on my videos making me cry and stutter even more, At that point i lost my hope, I left... For good that is..
2010 - 2011
My mom and dad bought me a camcorder for my YouTube channel still thinking i have been working on it but obviously i haven't i was very mad for getting that camera as i quit YouTube. For me it was a site that brought me into tears with one simple comment.
I met this guy called Ethan Bacon He got this new game called MineCraft, it wasn't very popular at that very moment but he made me get it... So well i got it! He told me about his YouTube channel and he had 20 Subscribers while i had 4. He said "Hey wanna make a channel and play MineCraft with me? We can record!"
I was 10 - 11 Years old back then so obviously i would have a lot of people calling me a squeaker kid but i just said "Maybe, do i have to talk?" He said "You don't have to but why?" Then i didn't want to tell him and i just said "Nevermind okay sure" and We filmed and filmed some MineCraft gameplay, i have made a new channel because of the hate i got. Wanted to start fresh! He swore a lot and ... as a kid myself i guess i learned fast and i began to use some of those words out of nowhere. My new channel had like 10 subscribers i was so happy i could almost fly! No hate, No dislikes, No reports...
It was like heaven for me, MineCraft kept getting more popular SUPER fast which was perfect for my channel to grow! I always loved to make people smile, ever since i was 7 Years old, it made me smile when i saw someone smile. I got this one beautiful comment that day "Hello Matthew, you are doing awesome! I am loving your content and i have subscribed" I do not know if it's anyone out of my family or not but that comment has legit made me do so much stuff i would post like 2-4 videos everyday, It was awesome i kept getting more subscribers and i got up to 20 that year.. Me and Ethan got into our first fight, i guess everyone fights i have not met anyone that has not fought yet.. Well obviously not a real fight but just internet fight, he always made fun of me how i stuttered and i shaked when i spoke, my jaw would go fast and it would be like i was outside in the snow. It would always be that i lost the battle i have cried so many times, Also i got bullied a lot in my school, like the only one that was bullied was me. Mostly for stuttering and... being ugly.. that was something that i hated the most, i had a black tooth when i was younger it was disgusting, people made fun of me they told me to cut myself even older people! Horrible! I won't forget this! That's how i began my stuttering, i was scared of everything.
2011- 2012 It's been 1 year without Ethan and i am doing great.. i got up to 50 subscribers on my channel, but started getting hates for squeaking, i went through puberty at that time so my voice was mixed and people fought in comments saying nah his voice is that nah his voice is other nah blah blah blah, I ignored those type of comments i started swearing in my videos and when Ethan saw i had more subscribers than him he added me on skype saying "aww sorry for deleting you man, it was just because i was mad that one day" So okay well friends give chances so why not, i gave him a chance. Why not, see if he changed, i forgot about the whole fight anyways i guess. We started making videos and he asked me for a shout out, i was like hmm ok and i gave him credits, his subscriber count rose from 30 up to 40 in a week not sure if it was from me or not but it happened, i was still at 50 and kept loosing few, he got nice comments i got bad comments, in 2012 i went to another country for a surgery to dentist and he fixed my teeth, they are clean now and white.
When i got back i noticed i had 40 subscribers (What?!?!) Why? But oh well i did YouTube for fun anyways, but it's still a shock when you go on your channel and see people unsubscribed from you, it makes you think "What did i do?" I expected to get more but i lost many.. Ethan kept being an dork about it saying Hahaha i have more subscribers! And well here goes another fight, i said "I gave you a shout out" he says "So what? i don't even need your stupid shout outs!" and laughed at me obviously because who else than Matthew stutters? I used to stutter when i was in stress but i stutter all the time now,
2014 My channel got 70 subscribers and Ethan's got 60
So guess who calls me on Skype?

Shouldn't of done it but i was very stupid back then and we began to be friends all over again still recording games and stuff like that
2015 (Year of my life change)
Ethan gets into fight with me because
i had more subscribers than him as always that kid kept being mad for no dang reason!

Also that year i have noticed my talent of acting, i changed my channel A LOT! i deleted all the videos which i swore in and i have made them into family friendly! Still getting bullied in school but i'm at 500 subscribers for doing videos, Ethan was at 120 i used to travel a lot for my videos hoping my fans would enjoy my content, as they did my channel rose very fast!
650 subscribers Ethan skypes me, saying he is sorry he told me a dark secret that he has ADHD so stupid me chose to befriend him and give him a shout out, that kid got 300 subscribers in a week! I was sure that was from me because i did many videos with him and people even commented on HIS videos saying "Matthew brought us here!"
Ethan starts calling me bad names, that moment i realized, That kid is using me... 3rd time!
Oh heck nah, even though i had a family friendly channel i said some very mean things to him i did not care about what he thought about it, he used me for fame! I blocked him.. (yes i not him... I)
and i make a video explaining about this whole situation
People saw me crying in the video of how i said my life story so far (Tearing up while writing this btw)
And people stood by my side! UNSUBBED from Ethan Bacon's YouTube Channel, boom he is down at 130, wow what? I really hoped he learn a lesson, and Ethan if you are reading this then you better realize you were nothing to be but a stupid kid that used me for stuff (trying not to swear)
Hardest thing in my videos back then was to stop swearing
But i made it... Finally made it!
I went up to 839 Subscribers and Ethan went down to 110 he quit YouTube and i am just heating up
You might not reconize me anymore, i have learned lessons i have understood what life is!
My total view rating right now is at 139,000, pretty crazy!
I love it so much! I have many many MANY videos coming up now and even going to travel around the world!
Guess i should travel to USA and take a poo on ethan's door! Would be awesome!!!
He will learn a lesson some day that fame is not more important than friends, i would give up my youtube channel for my friends, i care about my friends, i do youtube for fun, for people to smile, laugh! not to use me! No space for those type of people in my channel!!!!!!!!!!!!
In november i got called from a national film festival saying they are loving my movie project i have been working on and want to display it in cinemas, so awesome, my first ever real movie coming in cinemas, Blu-Ray and DVD! this is awesome, kids in my school are now jealous. i get bullied but i don't care, this has changed me a whole lot, i don't care about haters, i have a word block which deletes comments with words i have wrote in that box, I am on fire, I am that one person that will never be put down again, NEVER!
I am not shy anymore, i go in public scream into my camera even in stores when i hunt for toys, i don't stutter much but when i do i cut that part out, i am graduating from school into college right now which is a acting college, got officialy accepted to be an actor so hopefully one day i can display some of you awesome fans's comments on red carpet saying you inspired me! Thank you for reading this very long story of my life, sorry if it's very long but i had to get it off my back. I also have a gaming channel which isn't so bad.. 140 subs... still more than ethan... HA! and a skylanders channel 180 subs,, more than ethan too!
