How Youtube Changed Your Life ?

In time i have learned on how to improve many things but the biggest change was the community and feedback. I have gotten to know many gaming youtubers and due to this build up a larger personal network wich i enjoy as i now can discuss games with those who think alike and share opinions on this 
I learned some skills that have improved presentations for me in college. Basic video and photo editing is something I didn't know how to do. Using those skills made my presentations stand out a lot more.

I learned a lot of stuff after I started making and posting videos on YouTube. I learned video editing, to the extent that I could edit and render my own videos without anyone's help. I learned how to use Inkscape to create thumbnails. Given the fact that I teach Game Development with Unity, I do a lot of research, I learn more and more about Unity everyday. Also, after I started posting tutorials, I realized that not only do I enjoy Game Development (developing games), but I also enjoy sharing my knowledge by teaching Game Development. YouTube's Creator Academy tutorials taught (and is still teaching) me a lot too. There's a lot more that I can't think of right now but YouTube has really changed my life.
Well, I learned to use Photoshop cause of it, I learned how to video edit because of it and I learned how to produce audio thanks to YouTube. It's also giving me something to do during my breakup instead of sitting here wallowing in rage and misery.
I made friends with other gamers

wow most people learned how to make videos and photos, really? i took classes on film/photography before i even knew about youtube, (yes i feel old saying that)
anyways the thing i learned most from youtube is self confidence, and honestly i'm a lot less shy then i used to be, i used to be so shy i would avoid talking to anyone if possible, but now i mean i still avoid talking to people as im still kinda anti social, but i can actually talk to people, like when i go to the store and talk to the cashier i can actually have a small conversation without feeling awkward, and i find my self being more outgoing in public and being absolutely retarded in public with out a care
haha so yeah basically it helped me stop caring about what people thought about me and helped me realize that just being myself was awesome, it hasnt totally fixed my shyness though i am still awkward if i try to make friends or something. talking to people no problems, trying to befriend somebody? nah thats still hard for me haha cuz even if youtube has helped me... well growing up i always had problems making friends so yeah haha

Skills wise like most people here are mentioning is not the thing I learned trough Youtube, I studied media design and other digital creative related subjects so I already knew how to work all the software stuff and filming/lighting. (I work in a photography studio in my free time)
What youtube did help me with is figuring out my career choices and future perspective, I'm graduating in spacial design this year but I'm not feeling the whole perspective and work field. This is something that has been bothering me for the last two years but I could never admit it to myself, until Youtube made me realize what I actually love to do and that is to do professional makeup. So I've decided to enroll in a private study to become a profesional makeup artist within a year and I'm planning to start that study at the end of August!!
For some people it may seem like something little but for me it's a very big thing to admit that I want a total career change but through Youtube I've learned that is this is the one thing that makes me truly happy!
It has provided me with many memes. It's almost my #1 source for memes. Ignoring that, it allows me to express my opinions on channels and release internal rage, which is sometimes fun.
I can edit audio and video, I can use photoshop, paint, GIMP, sony vegas 12, movie maker and many more and probably more to come. My presentations at school has improved and I find all these skills very transferable to other things on computers as well!
