I created a freedom account and accepted the terms that were given, but how do I know if my account is actually linked with freedom? I watched a video telling me that I needed to accept youtube's montenization, but how do I montenize with freedom instead? I already checked in my channel settings and it just says "verified partner." This might not make sense. Hopefully someone gets what I'm talking about.
Under the partner verified bit it should say Network: Freedom if it doesn't say that you aren't a partner of Freedom

Once you have applied and been accepted it can take up to a week for the invitation to appear on your YouTube dashboard. If it takes more than a week then you will need to contact the partnership support team using the link below:
