Try to find something that hasn't been done yet... and do it...
That's how you get the big views.....
But it's important to know SEO so that you target your keywords in the best manner possible.

I agree with this. Also, think of your inspirations and try and reinvent the wheel. Do what they do, but with your own unique twist.
SEO can get you more views, although you usually need some base views to start with or youtube will just rank your video down. Best thing to go for is make your video unique, if someone has already done the exact same video is there a reason for someone to watch your one.
Also depends what you are doing youtube for, sometimes just doing your own thing without worrying about views is the best way to grow.

I used to make gaming video before and it didn't go well, So I decided to make something that not a lot of channels do. So I made a channel base on Video Game papercraft. Before that, I only had like 16 people subscribed to the channel now I'm 50 away from 1,000, And also built a really nice community base on that and it still growing. So my tip for this topic is create something unique that people will enjoy, Best of luck.
For small channels, making just what you solely feel like making within a genre is not going to help you grow. You must make the videos that the people are looking for, for wanting to see.
Gaming channels: You want to research, research and do some more research. But never obsess over statistic and number. Find what people want to see, something that isn't there. Simple LP's don't work anymore. You must do something extraordinary.
Vlog channels: Be of high energy and have important topics that people are looking to see, or take a boring topic and make it interesting. Very few can pull that off efficiently.

I know the overall goal isnt to have other content creators watch you, but it will help more than you might think. If you make friends, the most important thing is you have fun and find other people with the same passion as you.
Secondly, it leaves you open for collabs, which exposes you to their viewers as well, which in turn can help bring in more subscribers and viewers!

Can someone please explain to me what SEO please, and is this why I only have 50 views on my videos that I upload?
SEO is short for search engine optimization, there are videos on youtube explaining them.Hope this helps!
