Greetings my fellow gamers!

Like many of you, I'm a new Freedom! partner and I'm attempting to kickstart my channel. I'm in the process of stylizing Real American Gamer, and would apprectiate any tips, tricks, or constructive feedback. There are certain things I can't quite figure out on YouTube, such as having a Feature Video play on my channel's page. If any of you can let me know how to do this, that would be stellar. So I invite you to take a look and feel free to provide some thoughts on the channel: what is missing, where you feel I can improve, etc.
Your efforts will be greatly appreciated.

im new myself so definitly not an expert but i have noticed a few things that id like to comment on that may help you overall.

First when i checked out your channel there was no channel trailer. If someone does stumble on your channel you have nothing to hook the viewer into watching your content.

Your channel art is also a bit fuzzy and hard to read. I would definitly take some time to polish it up.

The videos themselves look high quality, and when you do talk i do like the dialog. but from the couple of videos i watched it seemed very spread out. People watch gaming channels for relatedness. They want to see you and hear you. If you spend more time allowing the game to present itself, instead of you presenting the game, people will get bored.

to set up a featured video open your dashboard, click the channel tab. then featured content. then choose a video to upload and it will be recommended at the end of your other videos.

Thanks for responding. yes, I'm in the process of setting up a channel trailer. I just figured out how to get it set up through youtube today, so the trailer should be coming shortly.

I thought the channel art was difficult to read as well, YouTubes weird in that it requires a huge pic size for channel art but only uses a tiny portion of that pic to display. I plan on taking care of that as well.

As far as the dialog goes, I'm a little torn about that. Personally, I get a little annoyed when people chatter endlessly throughout their gaming vids, most of the time I just want to see the gameplay with some talk here and there. That could be just my age showing though. I'll see how things go and maybe switch up my style a bit later down the road.

I do have the featured content option enabled on my channel. Not sure if its working properly though.

At any rate, I appreciate your feedback, I'll take some things into consideration and apply the appropriate changes.
