I've been trying to make my YouTube videos funny, but I don't know what to do to make it more popular. Any tips?

Upload what you think you would watch if you come across it on Youtube, btw being funny is not something you switch on and off, be yourself mate and people might find it funny. Goodluck!
Ask yourself the question what do you think is funny. Sure you haven seen some video's on youtube from (Example) GtaV that made you laugh? What was is it that made you laugh? Try to be creative with your content.
The point of being a content creator is to be personable and to resonate with your viewer base. You must bring forth the best in you while remaining real and creating content people want to see.
I agree with the posts above. I was having the same problem trying to appeal to people and it wasn't working. Now I just make videos for myself. If I find myself LOLing a lot during the editing process then I know that I'm making a good video.
Just keep focusing and make good content it will take time but you will grow.
Be different, be consistent, and try your best.
