When did you apply to join Freedom? It doesn't look like your channel is partnered. You can check if you are partnered on this page https://www.youtube.com/features it should show "Network: Freedom!"

Might be an idea to contact the support team (Create a support ticket) and ask for a new invite. If you are still having any problems let me know.

I know, you need to be a partner to get the badge though

A while ago quite a few channels were unpartnred maybe yours was one of those, if you message support they should be able to re-partner your channel.
