10. Cagayan de Oro

Population : 675,950
Nicknamed the "City of Golden Friendship" and formerly known as Cagayan de Misamis. Located at the mouth of the swift-flowing Cagayan de Oro River, which has become a tourist draw.[47] Regional center of Northern Mindanao and capital of the province of Misamis Oriental.
