It was February 1942 and the great city of London had gone dark.Her windows painted black, street lights were smothered, The once vibrant and beautiful city had descended into darkness. The people succumbed to a state of fear as the Luftwaffe carried on with their relentless raids. Taking refuge in cellars and public air raid shelters as the bombs fell upon the proud capital. However the citizens had more than the bombs to fear. Over the period of 6 days a poison would carve its way through the shadowed London Streets. That poison was Gordon Frederick Cummins also known, As the Black Out Ripper

Gordon Frederick Cummins was born on February 18th 1914 in the small village of New Earswick in Northern Yorkshire, a lot of his early life has never been disclosed which has led many to speculate on whether it was nature or nurture that turned him into a killer. What is know is that he was often reprimanded and even fired from his early occupations due to his arrogance and dishonesty. At the age of 23 Gordon Cummins had begun his life as a loving and doting husband, to a theatre producers secretary, By all accounts Gordon should have had a rather prosperous and self-fulfilling life from this point on, However there was a rotting in his core.


Enlisting into the Royal Air Force in 1939, as a Leading aircraftsmen Gordon earned himself the nickname of "The Count". He had claimed that he was an illegitimate child of noble heritage, this claim has never been verified and due to his earlier notoriety of dishonesty it is widely believed this was just a boastful claim.

At some point early in his military career he had decided he wanted more of a thrill. So he volunteered to be apart of the aircrew were he was posted to Regents Park for his initial training. The Course would run from the 2nd to the 25th February, With in these 23 days, Gordon *******'s would leave behind a violent legacy.
