0:00 - The History of Westmarch, Part 1 - available immediately after defeating Kasadya.
0:26 - The History of Westmarch, Part 2 - available immediately after defeating Drygha (destroying the first crucible in Gideon's Row). You can begin a game at the "Talk To The Mystic" quest-checkpoint under Act 5.2 (Souls of the Dead) and get this book.
0:49 - The History of Westmarch, Part 3 - available immediately after defeating Catharis (destroying the second crucible in Noble's Rest Courtyard).
1:18 - The History of Westmarch, Part 4 - begin at the "Westmarch Heights" quest checkpoint under Act 5.3 (The Harbinger), enter the Westmarch Heights to advance the quest, return to town, and search Deadra's Satchel.
1:41 - The History of Westmarch, Part 5 - begin at Act 5.4 (The Witch), run up to the satchel, and pick it up. Alternatively, as you are playing through the Act, kick Uzarel's butt, return to town, turn in quest to Tyrael, talk to Myriam, then search Diadra's Satchel.
2:03 - The History of Westmarch, Part 6 - begin at Act 5.6 (The Battlefields of Eternity), run up to the satchel, and pick it up.
2:24 - The History of Westmarch, Part 7 - begin at Act 5.7 (Breaching the Fortress), run up to the satchel, and pick it up.

Parts of the Deserter's Journal can be found in Deserter's Pack, scattered around both levels (1 & 2) of Caverns of Luray (beneath the Paths of the Drowned - the area just past the Blood Marsh, but before the Passage to Corvus).
