I’ve been playing around with some of the more advanced features of what EVE Online has to offer, and it all seems to lead to branching options and opportunities that present themselves as I go. For those willing to learn and apply themselves to the more intricate gameplay mechanics, this game is seemingly boundless.
It has also shown me more of the kind of asymmetrical dynamics that characterise the interactions between players themselves and the AI-driven factions, leading to outcomes that encourage and, in some cases, force players to rethink their strategy and approach to situations they involuntarily encounter.
