The Triglavian invasion proved that the smaller, less well-protected combat ships piloted by capsuleers were no match for the entropic disintegrator weaponry and advanced damage mitigation technology of the invaders.

It is here where the larger monstrosities armed with some of the most powerful weapons and defensive systems available in New Eden are able to take on the Collective's fleets with little or no backup. The Golem is one such monster.
