▼ 3 new rules now being enforced

#1 - Misleading titles or metadata to increase views

This includes misleading keywords or tags added to the titles or descriptions of videos in order to increase views. Learn more about misleading metadata: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2801973#metadata

If your channel is ypp-suspended, you can re-apply to ypp in 30 days. Visit Creator Studio (http://youtube.com/account_monetization) for more information about your channel status, including what you should do before you reapply for monetization.

While the YouTube team wouldn't be able to share any specifics about the violations, they would recommend you to follow the Best practices for metadata as outlined in this help center article: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7002331

#2 - Video spam

It's not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted, or repetitive content in videos, comments, private messages, or other places on the site.

#3 - Duplication

In most cases, you can’t re-upload someone else's content unless you get permission first.

Here are some types of content that are subject to copyright:

- Audiovisual works like TV shows and movies
- Sound recordings and musical compositions
- Visual and written works, including paintings, posters, articles and books
- Dramatic works such as plays and musicals
