The number of subscribers is what defines the success of a YouTube channel, so it's normal that everyone cares about them. However, today many have raised a nasty surprise, because youtubers have lost thousands of followers. It seems the problem is that these were inactive users, and YouTube has been removed, some people say that you can also treat people who make sub x sub but do not believe that.

Those interested youtubers gain followers (usually ask at the end of the video we adhere to us), but YouTube does not serve anything an account that is not used. Advertisers who advertise want to know real audience data, not inflated numbers. So, occasionally, YouTube closed inactive accounts.

This is what has happened today. The youtubers are angry about losing followers, but it is a process that occurs regularly, though perhaps never generated so many complaints. YouTube can remove accounts that have not been accessed in six months if they have any uploaded video and perform no activity.

In fact I think I lost 300 subs or there, there are other youtubers (famous) who have lost more than 30,000 subs.

In fact do not know if this issue is well posted here. If it is not forgiving.

And good is something that I put mainly to vent T.T is maddening to be growing and you suddenly remove many subs. But like everything, we must continue to front.

I hope you have given some useful information.
Thank you very much for reading.
A greeting.

If a sub ain't watching you, how is it helping you? True, you could make the argument that people are more inclined to sub to a channel with a high sub count, but at the end of the day, it's views that make you money, not subs. I'll say now that I'm new, and I missed the purge, but it will happen to me one day. And when it does, you get up, dust yourself off, and you make the subs you lost back by offering quality content consistently. The cream rises to the top, and those subs you get back will be actual people who are watching your content, and contributing to your growth and eventual earnings. Not ghost in the form of a number. But that's just my opinion.

Welcome to Freedom !

i think its is good because inactive subs arent helping the channel in anyway instead of making your subs looking higher so Im fine with it :)
