I want to set up a donating option just in case if people do want to start donating to me but I was wondering what one would be best to use, Patreon, PayPal or the YouTube support button? I can't actually get the support button as I'm in England so do not say that one unless you know a way to get it in the UK. Also if possible could you explain to me how whatever one you suggest works and what is good about it compared to the other one?

Well i would recommend go with Paypal. Since it dirrect the donations directly to you. So no third party is involved

As a side note to be able to use donations via Paypal you also have to upgrade the account to a business account. And for that you need to have a business.

Well YouTube dont count as a business because you dont own it.
I got a business account due to my small indi game brand.
I suggest you to start a official brand of any kind which can be used.

Patreon you can show milestones for each donation achivement, and offer to do special stuff when a mark is reached.

you can check the transaction history on the paypal, or trough the Patreon dashboard (if you pick that)
When someone donates does it go into the bank account that I set it up with or do I have to do something on PayPal?
If you decided to do it trough Paypal.
Then the donations will be added to your paypal ballance. From there you can add it to a bank account.
If you decide to use Patreon.
Then the donations will be added to your Patreon account for withdraw to either Paypal or other online services.
(In this case i am not sure of how the withdraw procedure works)
