YouTube Channel Name Change?

So I have been thinking deep recently if I would be changing my YouTube name. I don't want to post it here 'cause someone might steal my name and would hinder me from changing my name. Let's just say that this name doesn't contain my real name which is a part of my current YouTube name. So what do you think? Should I change my name? I think the name that I am currently planning to change to is more badass and it stands out.

I think that if you want to go for it, but you should also ask people closer to you like your subs and friends. They have a higher standing than I do, and I also think your name doesn't have to be any cooler, just that it's unique to you. There's a guy named Cry and he's doing good for himself, so just be yourself, and if you yourself don't like Nigeliam than go ahead.

Actually, there is nothing preventing you from assuming any YouTube name you could come up with. I could change my channel name to "PewDiePie" and (despite its unoriginal nature), would be able to keep the name.

You want your YouTube nickname to be indicative of you and your personality, while keeping it concise and important to you. Nothing like getting up to 1,000,000 subscribers and realizing "I really don't like the name "ChickenMcNugglets".". You should want it to be something that is indicative of you, but also something you'd be okay with yourself and those who watch you calling you whatever you change it to.
