xboxone and playstation 4 crossnetworking

What do you guys think about Microsoft and Sony possibly doing cross-networking.

That would be awesome in my opinion cause the fans of both would now be able to compete

i only heard that the XB1 will be doing the Crossover, my honest opinion i think they are doing this only due to the loss in the gaming network since the console has been out compared to the PS4. they wouldnt be doing it for any other reason
