Why are there not many vlog channels on freedom?

Hey everyone,

So every time I come on the forums and check the threads, and take a look at the new members that have joined I noticed that most of them are gaming related channels. I know for me to find other vloggers to colab with, or to even check out there channels to see what others do it is hard. Is it just not a thing most people are interested in, or is gaming just so much easier to do? Anyone have any input on this matter?

Sorry man, there used to be a place on the forum that was vlog videos only but since the update it looks like they merged it all together into one content section.

You can also filter tags, like just filter the vlog tag in introductions would be https://freedom.community.tm/forums/introductions.2/?prefix_id=123

But yes, I think gaming is easier to start up which is why there are so many gaming channels.

Gaming is one of the easiest things to do but also the hardest to gain audience. You could make a thread for a collab tough, i'm sure some will be up for it

Gaming is the second easiest to make videos about but also hardest to get anywhere with.

Of course the easiest is reaction channels, where they just sit there and reupload a video in full.

I think it has a lot to do with gaming content being much easier to create. You don't have to really put much thought into shot angles, content topics, or video quality (aside from capturing in HD). Plus, gamers can pump out content much more frequently with much less work involved in editing etc (at least the lets players).

Seems that gaming is ultra hot at the moment, but I do not think it isn't easy at all it's a very saturated but fun genre. But to be honest pursuing youtube has become more common so getting more saturated in general as well at the moment....

Oh cool I didnt know you could filter like that and yeah to everyone else the gaming genre is crazy over saturated but yeah I can imagine it being fun

Well, I don't have a gaming channel so you can check my channel. I also find it weird that at least %80 of the forum is gaming channel(like most of the youtube) but if people prefer to do that what we can do?
