The why is very important. I am hoping we can all become a bit more educated here on these VR headsets that are popping up seemingly by the day. At the moment there are some that we know the prices for and others that we don't so that is a big deciding factor I understand. We also know more details about some than others. However from what is available or theorized or has been leaked out there, which are you most excited about and why? I personally feel that I don't know enough about them and I'm actually excited about all of them because I think that they can all provide their own types of unique experiences. If I had to choose one, well I don't know, that's why I made this thread because I want to know more about them before I decide :3 I will say that the only one that I've tried is the Oculus which I tried in a show room floor when I was in Tokyo last October. It was a simple car parking simulator but I will say it was incredibly immersive and really made me feel like I was in a real car moving it around. I was quite blown away actually. I've been interested in VR since the mid 90's and I remember back then even trying the huge dome of a thing in malls that was super early VR. I also was excited when the Nintendo Virtual Boy came out. I find it unbelievable the people that dare to compare this state of VR to the one from the mid to late 90's. It's a debate that doesn't even deserve a reply honestly. Well like I said which VR headset are you most excited about and most importantly why?
