What is StoryFire?

So I was watching a commentary youtuber and he was talking about storyfire, I wanted to ask what is storyfire? is it like an alternate version of YouTube? or is it like a community website like these forums?

I'd say it's in between, it looks like it aims to be YouTube but with alternative text stories and "closer" connections to the creators. It looks interesting, could either be the new great thing or go the Vidme route and become too expensive to run...

Okay @LW001 I found that they have an app it looks a little confusing cause from the sound of it you need to fill out an application to upload videos. it seems interesting but I don't know.

generally in these situations the SMART thing to do if you have the time is to use the new service but put a heavy emphasis on getting people to follow you other places too so you can be exposed to the new community and possibly move them later should the new service bomb entirely.
