Hey there! My Laptop overall is pretty good for everything I use on it, however, I've heard that it has a pretty bad card. I'm not sure if it's a Video Card or a Graphics Card? What the sticker says is intel inside core i3 I was wondering if that is capable of playing larger games and recording them for YouTube, or if I should buy a new one. If I should buy a new one, do you have any suggestions?

hello. ^_^ a video card and a graphics card are the same thing. the term is used interchangeably. however, "video card" is a bit older, most people just call them graphics cards now.

the i3 sticker refers to the processor in your machine. as a rule of thumb, unless you have a high end laptop then its only going to be capable of playing lower end games. if you're happy with that that's fine of course.

if you would like me to design a desktop machine for you, it would be my pleasure. the most important thing to know is your budget though. after that, what would you like the machine to be capable of? (gaming, video editing, streaming/recording, mining* and at what resoultion) last, how much room would you like to upgrade, as in, do you want the ability to add a second graphics card in the future or add more hard drives, that sort of thing.

*you probably don't want a mining machine.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Intel Core i3, but that's personal preference. Something to keep in mind if you are not ready to get a stronger machine is video capture devices. They can attach, for example, via USB and record your screen game play. I too agree that you're i3 would probably only be able to play major title games at the minimum settings but hey...as long as you're having fun right? :) Good luck!

that guy who said buy a monster gpu and CPU you can't since it's a laptop
but the i3 is a CPU and I'm guessing it has integrated graphics if that's the only one
for games no
