This Day in History....

Hello!

I have a Facebook page but I barely use it so I'm thinking about starting a series where I make Facebook posts about important historical events (American and world history) that occurred on each day. My channel isn't focused on history but I wanted to see if anyone thought it was a good idea.
Also I was thinking of adding holidays that are celebrated (i.e. Independence days are some countries).

It really depends on whether or not you'll enjoy it and what type of audience you want to attract. If you think you'll attract an audience you want watching you then go for it.

Sounds good to me, you might be better off creating a specific channel for this though as it would be quite different to gaming.

That was what I was thinking because I wouldn't want people who like the Facebook page for history to go to the YouTube channel looking for history but be disappointed to find gaming.
