The goal to achieve a custom URL.

Hi everyone, my current goal is to be able to create a custom URL.
Unfortunately this requires a minimum subscription number.
Does anyone have any hints and tips on how I can achieve this?

To be honest i recieved mine trough connectong Google+ and making a own website for my youtube. At that moment Google+ stated that i could get my own custom URL. That is how i did it.

Hmm, what i noticed that helps in growing is being active in communities like forums. Sharing your video's on social media like twitter and facebook, even instagram can help in this.
Collaborating with others. In short the more you spread the name of your channel the more adience you gain. I have gained around 50 subs in 1 month time since i am more active on social media and started uploading daily. Maybe it could help you too

Social media is a good for promoting videos. Twitter is good because certain people will RT your videos which can help a lot if they've got a good number of followers.

Social media is a great way to help grow but just don't over do it as there is a very fine line between just posting on forums and spamming.
