Solved Support ruining user-experience.

I had a great time with the Freedom! network and I am trying to leave. It was my understanding I could leave anytime and now the support keep urging me to stay and are refusing my request to disband from my YouTube channel.

Can somebody please tell Michael from support that he's simply ruining user experience by delaying this process. I really wanted the removal process to have started by now since it directly involves finances.

I was considering rejoining at a later stage but after this faff I'm done here.

Either or, it would take 30 days to be unlinked from the partnership.
You should be able to initiate that from your YouTube channel features I believe, of which support should not refuse your request.
I will send your enquiry to the team, hopefully you can send us some evidence of this support member disallowing your disbanding so we can look into this further.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with a support member. With regards to unlinking your channel, if you have requested to unlink from your YouTube dashboard they can not stop you from leaving. The delay for you leaving is part of the contract you agreed with when joining and as such you agree to give Freedom 30 days notice before leaving, at the end of those 30 days you will be officially withdrawn from the network. There isn't anything that can be done to speed up this process, as this is a term in the contract, which you agreed.

As previously said if you are engaging in chats with the support team and they refuse (for whatever reason to start the unlinking process) they just do this from your YouTube dashboard and then wait the 30 days as outlined above. Again I am sorry to hear that this is causing a nuisance for you, but we will be sure to pass this on

i've forwarded this to Support. I'm confused though it's standard practice to require the agreement to be honored which means the 30 day exit period as well as simply asking why someone wants to leave. Asking questions like this allows us to do better in the future and better understand our YT partners :)
