Star Wars Battlefront is a prime example of a missed opportunity. Not in sales in commercial revenue. This is a matter of disrespecting the fan base old and new alike. When any beloved franchise or series is cheapened such as the carbon copy package and insulting shallow depth to Star Wars Battlefront with even the executives at EA admitting the game lacks depth. Star Wars Battlefront missed an opportunity to recapture some of the magic the older Battlefront games had as well as give fans and newbies alike a reason to believe this Star Wars game would be more than a vacant void of fantastic looking mediocrity.
Star Wars Battlefront will not be featuring any DLC from the recent Star Wars movie Episode 7 The Force Awakens, although EA and DICE say they want to work inside the original trilogy.
