So latly I've been kinda addicted to Fallout 4 and I've been doing livestreaming with it...

Which btw is totally unusual for my youtube channel... usually I post shorter, edited, episodes...

But now all of a sudden I've got got this 1-3hour epics happening all the time... lol

I'm not so sure it was the best direction for my channel... lol...

But hell. .. I'm having fun :)

I find streaming to be pretty fun especially if you have an audience. If need be, take your stream and trim it down into a few videos and upload them to your channel. That way you have your stream and plenty of videos

As said above actually. I also do it that way. I stream trough Youtube Gaming and if the video is a bit long i cut them into circa 30 min video's. But back to streaming: it can indeed be fun when you have some audience to have interaction with. It has helped me alot with gaming as it people also told me things for ingame i didn't know or forgot :)

Are livestreams always a little more pixely than normal recordings? I'm curious wether I need to change my stream settings... I have it auto configured by xsplit right now

I had the same issue that I just fixed. Your bitrate is too low. Mine's set at the max for twitch (3500 kb/s) and looks glorious.

Ok thanks alot for that :) I set it up manually next time... thanks again... I'm new to streaming :)

Usually the default settings are good but when you're playing a game that has a lot of movement you need a higher bitrate. I streamed like that for so long without noticing o_O
