Im not sure... Ive been hanging out in the /vive reddit alot and it seems like the page is somehow rigged by certain groups...

So you have to somehow appeal to those voters... thats the trick to reddit.

You can sometimes post in places relevant to the games you're playing when it's still light enough to not be considered spam. Although many places outright ban self advertisement.
Any place dedicated to YouTubers for advertising is a very huge red light and do-not-advertise zone. YouTubers are not your audience.

I'm trying to build a community but I get no feedback on the videos been asking on Reddit to but nothing also can you give feedback on this video
Two things.

1. You're not supposed to advertise your work here in any form outside of the 'content' section.

2. I won't give feedback, since not only do I believe you are your best critic, but also that you'll get feedback from your fanbase when you manage to get a fanbase. I'll judge your channel based on your last few videos.
You're doing something you shouldn't be and you're getting dislike bombed.

where about on Reddit is the best place to get subscribers and views from
Reddit is a difficult place to get your content promoted as in most cases it will leave your channel get trolled or even dislike bombed. You have to get known around there first and build up a name for yourself before you can try to self promote and this is something i say from personal experience ;)

If you self advertise too much, you will be shadowbanned, which means banned without you knowing. If more than 10% of your posts are connected to you, you are self advertising.

o.o you talking to me? Because that's not SELF advertising. I'd never do such a thing. Technically just my existence on this forum is kind of self advertising though, don't you think? ;D

No I am just saying how much of a piece of **** Reddit is.
Yeah I know. But there is one cool sub reddit. It's called watch people die, don't go there if you don't like to feel grim tho :p

But anyways back to topic. Reddit doesn't seem like a good place to promote a channel...

Using reddit just as a way to get views/subs probably wont work and will get you banned as the others have said. I'd suggest reading through and finding your favourite subreddits and just replying to posts for at least one week before you even think about posting your own topics/links. Unlike forums you can get downvoted as well as upvoted making it seem a lot harsher that the usual social media sites.
