Hi freedom family,
I am here to solve one of the most asked questions about YouTube and gaming.
How do you record your XBox or PlayStation.
Well you could spend money on an Elgato or game capture hardware ore you could take the Freemium option and go for free software.
All you need for this solution is a Computer with Windows 10 installed (It's a free update for existing Windows 7 & 8 users), an Internet connection and be willing to read this long but useful post.
Before we start, if you don't have an Xbox one then your in the wrong place. If you have a PlayStation I believe there's an app you can download.
First, open up the Xbox app on Windows 10 and if prompted, login.
Connect your Xbox.
Record.
Simple as that.
You've successfully avoided some unneeded investment on an unneeded Elgato. Simply by using your PC and an Internet connection.
(Windows 10 is a free upgrade until July 29 or around that time)
(This may not be accurate as I do not have an Xbox one, and I use Mac. But this is the method that I have heard of from microsofts website)
