Recommendations for game capture cards

Hey guys,

do you have any recommendations for game capture cards?
I want to use it with my PS4 and Wii Switch, maybe with PC in the future.

Everyone is talking about Elgato but is it really that good?
What other products are out there that help me to record on a professional level?

And my last question... is it really necessary to have a PC with a gpu like a nvidia 1080 just to record the video from the PS4/Switch or is a less powerful gpu also working? I don´t want to play on the PC monitor, I just want to use it for recording.

Hey,

I use Elgato Game Capture to record my games from the PS4. Not sure about Wii or PC but i am sure you will find more information on the website.

thanks for your reply. Meanwhile I already bought an Elgato HD60 S+ and it is really great.
It was a bit tricky to set everything up in OBS, especially to get rid of the sound delay... but now everything works great
