R9 380 (4GB) VS GTX 960 (4GB)

hey all, I'm just curious on peoples opinions over the two cards. I'm currently aiming for the MSI R9 380 as it seems to be better than its Nvidia rival. but I want to hear what others think on this. Note I don't have a job and its going to take until June to get enough for the card anyway.

nvidia does have amazing driver support and they also offer shadowplay, i can't speak for amd as i've never owned an amd card but i haven't heard any negatives from that cards as of yet

Well it depends on the motherboard. But just based off the graphics card itself i would say nvidia based on support and all around drivers, but personally i use amd, amd graphics cards have high performance and can be overclocked. Just depends on preference.

Yea I think for that price bracket the amd card is the better one

the 380 is a better card. it beats the 960 in a vast majority of synthetic benchmarks and real world instances as well.
