Promotion is the key, try and engage with the wider community - get yourself well known and people will probably start taking more interest, also be sure that your uploading on a consistent schedule, this doesn't have to be everyday it could be once a week or something like that. Also be sure to take time create good quality content and try and make your videos stand out - what I mean by that is don't do the same videos that loads of other creators have (for example Lets Plays of old games) as this will only reduce your chances of being seen.also do you have any tips for getting more views
