Now there is no doubt in my mind that the whole powered by freedom thing is a great idea that freedom has put out to everyone. The way I see it though you have the general Freedom partnership and then there sister partnerships like MGN for gaming and Beat! which I think is a music partnership. Granted you know MGN may have high requirements for some people and being the benefits they have its perfectly acceptable. However, My thoughts at least is that there are so many partnerships out there and you see all the obstacles Freedom went through to get to the high ranking position they are why not instead of creating a million different sub partnership groups why not combine them together.
Now each partnership has different intensives which I get but here is what I think.
1) Bigger partnership groups look better in the 'eye of businesses increasing the likely-hood of acquiring a sponsorship to provide to your group.
2) You corner a type of group. For example if your partnership group was lets say all MMO games or something then if people wanted to know something about said MMO game they know that a massive group like ' MMO Kings' or something has a plethora of information on all MMO's.
3)You cut down on the fight to become a well known partnership which in some cases can increase the quality or the rate in which some videos may come out. For example, lets say I opened MMO Kings and I know there is another partnership group like mines then I try to push out 2-3 videos a day that may not be the best quality but if I was not in a fight then I have time to put out 1-2 much better quality videos. ( Do something the Call of Duty Franchise cant and think of something original).
4)More people working together to create original idea that can set them apart from the rest.
5) You look better to potential people who are thinking of joining.
6) You have this large number of people which you can then brand as lets say a professional team in LOL or CSGO or something.
7) You always have someone who can help one another. Small groups suffer from multiple things such as time zone differences, speech barriers, platforms people play on, etc...
There are more and I could go on but I think I made a point.
Now here is why I think people make several different groups.
1) they want to be the 'Boss'. Well in bigger groups there is a need for more then one head management so joining each other can still make you the head honcho.
Thats all I got lol. If you think differently then please comment and do not hold back anything this is a completely open discussion and without complete honesty then we cant build to be better.
