Phone heating too quick

Hi,

I have an LG G3 phone, very good and very amazing phone and its android, but I have a slight problem, my phone overheated while I was recording a small unboxing regarding to what I received, but I happened to record it then I suddenly get this message, oh bla bla bla your phone is gonna shut down, but the video didn't save...

How do I stop this?

I'm no expert with android phones since I have an iPhone. Try quitting all apps and services. Maybe do it in a cooler area. Record in smaller segments and if none of this helps go grab some help from Mr Google.

Make sure there's no case on it when you are recording.
