YES, THIS IS A RANT.
The original post on my personal Facebook had a single curse word in it. I have rewritten the post for use here and the curse has been obviously censored for purpose on Freedom!
Note: I am 17 year old University level high school student in Canada.
Also note: I don't like to make posts like this, but I needed to rant.

The town I reside in, in Canada, has recently seen a shift in the schooling. The 114 year old school I once called my own has been shut down and the current school [the one I am in] is being worked on to make it a "state of the art" facility.
The construction began at the end of the school year in 2013, the transition between my 10th and 11th grade years. The original idea was to have it done by the end of the summer and maybe have a few little things to be done throughout the upcoming school year. This has not gone as planned, as with government supply and the shoddy school system, it never does.
The next idea was to have it done at the end of this past summer, that of the end of the 11th grade and beginning of the 12th. This also hasn't been done, and after being told that the school was to be completed and fully functional before our arrival, we have been deceived. This was followed by the date of "early October" for the completion of the upgrades and a grand opening in mid-November. This, again, did not go as planned.
There is now a [probably estimated] grand opening of May 4th, 2016.
Let me recap. First, it was a 3 month project. Then became a 15 month project, then now a 25 month project! How do you get it off by 2 years!
My opinion was it is ridiculous and should not be so far behind, speaking further about how this is exactly what happens when you sell out to the lowest bidder.
In part of My English teacher's words: "You pay the lowest amount, you get the slowest work". I hopped onto the school's little mockup social media, Edsby, and posted my thoughts for the entire school to read, noting: "This is what happens when you pay the lowest bidder, inadequacy beyond belief".
A teacher and the principal defended against my statement, claiming I had no idea what I was talking about. But there is no excuse for such tardiness in the work. The teacher wanted me to "Be positive", to which I replied with a micro-rant I will not go on about here.
This exchange of course got some attention, and I had an entire class on my side.
In a part of supressing my opinion and that of the others, I was removed from the Edsby group "CCI School Talk", at which point I was angered by their attempt of control.
Me, being a hard person to control went [for lack of a better word] nuts. Quoting myself:
"This is another example of the authoritarianism that the school board likes to show off. Freakin' worthless".
Do you see the censorship?
To which I have been dealt a two day suspension. My belief here is that it is something that countless others have thought before, and just as I was the first to say it, I got bit with the fangs of the snake.
The end result is that I now know that I should rally the support of others first before trying to go face on with politics.
