Hi Everyone!
This will be my introduction to you all, a bit about myself, career choice, being a Freedom Partner & my Youtube Back story.
So my name is Mark Marsh, I Live in the United Kingdom, Southampton area, im 21 years old (Turning 22 in August), I work as a Commis Chef, for about a Year now, still in the training process, but I used to work as a Kitchen porter for 4 years. Ive went to college in 2010 for a 3 year course, and left with 2 A-levels, and a bunch of Level 2 in other subjects, but after I left college I got attached to Catering that in the end I wanted to stick in that line of work.
Ive gotten 2 A levels in Graphics and Photography, so its a huge gap between that and Catering haha.
Ive just gotten a Partnership with Freedom! and it feels awesome to be Free!, I used to be partnered with TGN on a 2 year contract, but TGN wasn't for me, the lack of support, communication, forums, feedback etc... the list goes on and in the end I wanted out. Lucky for me they did mess me around when I wanted to leave, so thank god for that. I remembered when I was Partnered with Fullscreen in 2012 for a 2 year contract and when it came to the cancellation date there support team kept messing me around, each time the manager who was in charge of opting me out of the renewal date kept changing, especially when the renewal date was near, and then they tried stalling on most occasions, so I love how Freedom Network has a active community, support team and a no lock in deal
, but I'm here to stay for a very very very long time.
Now enough about that, its time for my Youtube Back Story!! and well mine is not so cheerful.
I started Youtube back in 2010, the reasons why I created a channel was to make videos on gaming, It kept me happy and not stressed/depressed. See when I was growing up through school I was always bullied, through 2005 when I started right through to 2010 when I finished, I was beaten, harassed, threaten and called all sorts of names.
I was a shy person through school and didn't have that many friends, if I recall I only had 2 friends (3 if you count my older brother), the reason why I say I have 2 friends is because I still speak to them and meet up on a regular bases, its friends like them that matter, heck throughout my entire school life I was in the same year as my brother, and well people say brothers dont get on, well me and my brother do, yeah we argue and fight but were always there to lend support, and well in most cases my brother was always there to defend me through school and showed some bullies not to lay a hand on me, because most of them would end up in the medical bay or sent home because of what my brother did to defend me, the only issue is my brother was in different lessons then me so while out side of lessons I was safe, but in side I was harassed and bullied, and thats what lead to my self confidence being so low.
Eventually the day came when school was over and I could move on to college, and there meet new people who wouldn't bully me, yeah I made no real strong connections to anyone to call a friend, yeah I had mates, but they dont compare to friends. it also took me to the end of college to gain my self confidence back, it even had a toll on my videos, because since 2010-2013 my commentary for my videos was not on par, due to the fact I was scared and nervous, but through the ashes I managed to grow and gain a strong confidence and since this day I never looked back to the day of my school past but to the struggles I been through and what I went through to get here, and with everyone's support over the years its been awesome.
Sorry for this long essay, I didnt want to cover too much, but that can be spoken about in a video in the near future or I might make a book to help other people out there whos struggling.
