The main video editing software that I use for YouTube is Movie Studio Platinum 13. Depending on the different types of videos, I'll switch to Adobe Premiere CC. But MSP13 is the main one that I use.
Most of the time, I'll render a batch of videos over night by opening multiple instances and rendering them separately. It's a little ghetto, but it gets the work done in the least amount of time used. Plus, I'm sleeping, so I'm not going to be using the computer, might as well put that to good use.
Anyway, that's kind of besides the point. I'm not sure if any of you guys use this program, but I'm hoping you do and you'll be able to help me out.
My process prior to rendering:
I've read up on some articles through searching on Google, but I still come up confused. I'm not really sure what to do in this case 'cause if the video does come out muted, then I'm wasting more time by re-rendering the previous video.
Hopefully someone here will be able to help me on that.
Thanks!

My process prior to rendering:
- Highlight everything in the track bar, though not necessary (I'm just paranoid)
 - Double check to make sure audio is not muted and everything is running fine.
 - Click "make movie", save it to a certain folder, change file type to MP4, render.
