Recently I picked up a game some of you may have heard of, Alpha Protocol. I had played it before, running through it twice, but I never really realized how brilliant the game was. The dialogue system and reputation system was a step ahead of its time, and the story was pretty decent. Unfortunatley the game flopped both financially and critically, recieving a 6.3 out of 10 from IGN, and a 6 out of 10 from Gamespot. However, people who played through the whole game loved it (9/10 on Steam)
What games have you guys played that you think are underrated critically, and do you all think that reviews should be posted shortly after a games release, or after the reviewer has beaten the game?
